How Many Years Will Car Tires Last?
Have you ever wondered how long your car tires will last you? I know it was something I had always been curious about. Well, no matter if it’s cheap tires or expensive ones, all tires do have a lifespan.
I’m not speaking of how many miles you can get out of your tires because that will always vary from one driver to the next. Those who put on 50,000 miles a year will go through a set of tires much faster than someone only driving 15,000 miles a year.
But regardless of miles, time has a way of aging your tires to where they are no longer useful. Experts say that the average tire will hold up for approximately 6 years. There are circumstances that decrease the amount of time though. For example, if you live in hot weather climate the heat will speed up the aging process. So you will be replacing your car tires sooner than someone living in more temperate climate will.
