Cashing In Your Receipt with God by Oral Roberts

I remember Mr. Beale, my first banker, and the giant influence he had in giving me a practical demonstration of God’s financial laws in the mundane world. The Lord brought him across my path at the proper time to help me better understand the revelation which God provoked me to call Seed-Faith. I’ll always remember the day Mr. Beale sat me down in his office and expounded,’I have a story I would like to tell you that I believe might help you in your life and ministry.’
Winter Night Crisis
It was late and very cold. He attempted to flag down other vehicles, but nobody stopped. So he got back in his car and turned up the heater. He soon realized that he was dangerously stuck and his life may be in major difficulty. The driver got out and claimed,’Are you in trouble?’
Mr. Beale related,’Yes, I am,’ and when he told him his problem, the driver asserted,’I can fix your flat in 10 minutes.’ And just as he revealed, in about 10 mins, the tire was fixed. When he finished, Mr. Beale offered to pay him. Mr. Beale related,’Wait just a minute.’ He wrote him a receipt for $200. As he gave it to him, he claimed,’You don’t know me, but I am a banker. If you ever have need for $200, you simply bring this into my bank in Tulsa. You will find this amount deposited to your account.’
The bill is a superb thing to think about if you ever need it, but the genuine power is not in the bill itself-it’s when you cash it in.

but , oh, what a huge difference it is in having that nice piece of paper in periods of need, and you can get the particular money to settle up. Mr.
She asked him if he had an account in this bank. He answered, ‘All I know is that the president of your bank signed this bill for me, and said if I ever required $200, to come to this bank and money it.”Immediately I announced to the assistant, ‘Mrs. Jones, that is’s my signature on that receipt. He has an account with me, and I myself put the $200 in his account, so please give him the money.”
A Valuable Lesson
That day, I learned a particularly valuable lesson about seed and harvest, and holding on to a receipt that is honored by the most available power behind it. God tells us we have got a heavenly account, according to verse seventeen : Not because I need a present : but I desire fruit [or resources or provision] that may abound to your account. I suspect that at this time you can start a new life with God meeting your requirements and challenges that may not otherwise be met. And I think this principle can be applied in every area of your life, beginning at this moment.

A Phenomenal Act of the Lord by Evelyn Roberts

Forgiving others can be so troublesome, especially when you try and do it on your own. But the Bible announces, you must make allowance for one another’s faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord excused you, so you have to excuse others ( Colossians 3:13 NLT ). I admit that there have been times in my life when I’ve felt bitterness toward people. When you have been hurt, it’s a natural emotion that can rise up within you before you even realize it. It’s important to remember that God isn′t the writer of feelings like bitterness and hate-the demon is.
I had to wish for two solid years before I got the bitterness I held against that person out of my heart. Forgiveness isn′t wizardry. I had to work at it. But one day I realized that the resentment was gone.
I didn’t do it myself. The process of forgiveness-releasing those who have hurt and wronged you-is a mystical act of the Lord God. Let’s pray together and ask God, with His mystical power, to help you release any unforgiveness you may be holding in your heart : Lord, pardon me of my sins. Cleanse me. I repent for the resentment and unforgiveness I feel in my heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

SID : Franklin, when a note of knowledge comes upon you, when you are praying for your sister in law, are you a hundred percent sure that person is healed?
FRANLIN : 100 percent.
SID : Ok. RUTH : I returned to the infirmary. Well, I went by the doctor’s office and told him’I want to be rechecked. I don’t wish to go on dialysis if I haven’t got to.’ I didn’t tell him what had happened.
SID : Did you believe you were healed?

RUTH : I knew I was healed because things were different in my body. I didn’t have the pain
SID : I know, but what did the doctors say? You knew you were healed, but I would like to know what the doctors said.
You look different this morning.’ That was before they did any tests or x-rays or anything. So that the lady who took the x-rays asserted’Are you sure you′re who you are?’ I claimed’Do you need my I.D.?’ she announced’Weren’t you here yesterday?’ I claimed’Yes ma′am.’ She looked at my wristband, back at her paperwork, and ran out of the room. SID : 2 kidneys!?!? Did you get that? She had one bad kidney, she’s’s prayed for, she has 2 kidneys. What’s happened to the bad kidney? Was that good now?
RUTH : Yes it was. They did tests that showed the liquid intake of the kidneys, how it flows out of your body, that sort of thing. They said both kidneys were perfect.
What did the doctors say?

SID : I’m sure of that. It starts with your pa. Your dad at 1 time had a skirmish with God that caused people to think he was crazy. Let me know about that.
My dad was Methodist.

Sid Roth welcomes Franklin Walden

SID : howdy, Sid Roth here with Franklin Walden. Franklin, there are so many miracles in my notes, I am not sure where to begin. But maybe I could start at age 12. You had a vision from God.
let me know about that.
FRANLIN : I was age 12 when God carried me up above the heavens, into the heavens. Looking down over the earth, I saw the entire world, the illness, the diseases. He spoke and said’You will see this. You will talk and you’ll minister to these people.’
SID : Ok, so when you were 12, you were caught up in the heavenlies. You saw a world filled with sick folk, and that you would help these folk. FRANLIN : Take healing to them.
SID : Take healing to them.
FRANLIN : Today plays a big part in that. As it takes something supernatural to perform something similar to that.
SID : With satellites, et cetera, television in every home. Tell me about the girl that had no pupil in her eye. FRANLIN : She was blind, born that way. We prayed for her under the enormous gospel tent, and God created two lovely eyes. I mean perfect eyes.
FRANLIN : Oh yup.
SID : What color?
FRANLIN : Brown. SID : Brown. What was going on inside of you?
FRANLIN : I was beside myself. I’d never seen that before in my life, two eyes created. The anointing came, and I knew that God, He was in control and performed that miracle for that tiny six or 7 years old girl.
SID : what about the person that had no kneecap?
She claimed’I have no kneecap.’ I said’Let me see.’ So she showed it to me and the congregation. It was stiff ; no kneecap. She had a brand new one.
SID : When something similar to that happens, I know what it might do for me if I saw that with my eyes. When the audience saw this creative miracle, did many other folk get healed?
FRANLIN : Oh yes. I had a Southern Baptist bible thumper there, and his better half, and they saw it. Today he is’s praying for the sick and received the baptism. I’ll tell you, he is’s carried it across the country.

Sid Roth along with Franklin Walden

SID : hi, Sid Roth here with Franklin Walden. Franklin, I just wish I had been at that meeting you were telling me about in Conyers, Georgia. Describe what took place.
FRANLIN : I′d just stepped to the platform. I knew there had been something happening in the spirit realm supernaturally. I looked out over the fans, and when I did, there had been a light like a ball of fire. It began to move over the congregation, and it moved over 37 different people. SID : In other words, it would just be above their head?
FRANLIN : Right above their head.
SID : it would stay a few seconds then go to the subsequent person. FRANLIN : And every one was healed.
FRANLIN : 37.
SID : Did you get that? This light appears above the head of 37 people, and 37 people are healed. Tell me one individual that was healed, what’s happened to them.
When it did, it just [whoosh] went away, just like that.
SID : Did you ever see her afterwards?
FRANLIN : Oh yes, I saw her two weeks back.
SID : Really? And it stayed away?
FRANLIN : Oh yeah. SID : How giant was this tumor?
FRANLIN : 9 pounds.
Give me the normal! I should take it anytime. Why does one doctor call you’the miracle man’?
FRANLIN : Well, I left my body for twenty-one days.
SID : What happened? Did you’ve got a heart problem?

SID : So you’re laying in the hospital bed, but you’re not in that bed, you’re somewhere else. Where are you at?
FRANLIN : First I was at a place with my folks, then my other half and I went into the heavens. Then I came back, and carried me beneath the earth,
and went into hell. That’s the sad part. The general public do not know, but hell is real. They were gnashing their teeth on this minister, and he couldn’t get away. We followed you.’
SID : Was that minister suffering? It sounds like it.
FRANLIN : Oh my, was he going through it. He’d be tormented that way, I suppose, so long as hell lasted.

FRANLIN : that’s’s right. No point of reversal. Tell me about that letter that you were given. That’s so amazing to me.
FRANLIN : While I was out the twenty-one days, I was taking a walk across this bridge, and I met this woman, and I prayed for her in the spirit. After I came back into my body, a few weeks later I got a letter from her, and she claimed’While you were out, you came to me and prayed for me, and I was healed.’ I have the letter. I will not explain it .
In this 21 days you’re in this spirit realm where you have got a visitation of paradise and a visitation of hell. You see a lady on a bridge and you pray for her, and she says to you that she was sick, and you came to her in the spirit realm and prayed for her?
FRANLIN : And healed her.

Sid : And she saw such a difference, but then you used to have talks with her of your research on the brain. Paul : especially the areas of the brain and how
Sid : tell me what the Lord God Almighty was showing you about the brain.
Paul : He was showing me, see I had no background in psychological fitness, and I spent nearly thirty thousand on therapy over the years to get well because I knew something was incorrect but I felt flawed and defective and so I, God actually took me to this area of research in the brain and how we are wired as youngsters, the tapes that occur, the things that happen to us before the age of nine to eleven and the wounds, and there are 5 things that will stop a kid’s development and that’s rejection in the original family, incest, molestation, physical and emotional abuse, and if any one of those occurs or they had, I have worked with individuals that have had three and have 5 of them, and it literally stops the developmental structure of the core character of the child at that point, and in psychological well-being it is named fixation, and they have never learned to restart the maturing process so in
Sid : So they stay a prisoner for the remainder of their life?
Paul : Yes and they develop a pseudo-personality so that the personality I had when Judy and I were wed the first 16 years, folk outside really liked me because I used to be a nice guy, it was actually the guy behind closed doors that might not love, could not understand intimacy, could not manage anger, could not resolve conflict, did not know the easiest way to parent, I meant the list just goes on and on so what’s happening is emotionally I’m a child raising a family, and when my 3 kids got anywhere from nine to thirteen years of age they were more mature than I was and I left, that’s the reason why I walked away. Sid : You spent all that money with the best psychiatry and psychology had to offer and not - zero, not much.

Paul : Yes, because a kid under the age of adolesence is lacking : And that is why Apostle Paul said in his writings,’When I used to be a child I acted, spoke thought and reasoned as a child and when I grew up I put away childish things.’ I understood acting like a kid because I did it for forty years, I accepted chatting like a kid,

Sid Roth welcomes Andrew Moyo

SID : hello, Sid Roth here with Dr. Andrew Moyo and there are a few things about Africans and the way they understand the invisible world before becoming believers in the Messiah and then once, Andrew, you become a follower in the Messiah, it all, when you read the New Testament it makes more sense, and after you saw the outcome of this blind girl getting her sight back, your religion must have soared.
ANDREW : Oh boy, I was a modified man, it took, my life became from just thinking that God could use me to knowing that God can use me and he wants to use me and he wants to fix people, he wants to set folks free, and use a standard person who will just believe in him.
ANDREW : Well I walked into this aids ward in this Catholic hospice and there is just so many people with assists but this particular lady, she must have weighed about 20 pounds, that morning the doctors said to the mother to take her home because there was nothing else they could do for her, she is the sole child of this lady, her lips were dripping blood as she had sores, she had boils, growths under her armpits, I mean she looked, was is such a shape I failed to even wish to spend much time in this ward because the stench was so bad I presumed I was going to contract an airborne disease but he Lord said to me,’Minister to her.’
SID : How long did she have to live?
ANDREW : They gave her hours ; they sent her out that morning, when I walked in they were packing her bags because they instructed her to go home because she had only a couple of hours to live. SID : Why did they need her to go home if she only had a few hours?

SID : What did you’re feeling when you were going to lay hands on her so far as whether she would be healed or not, I mean that woman was a close to death as you might come.
ANDREW : Absolutely, I looked at her and I commenced to shake but at the same time i know i don′t heal folks, the Lord Jesus heals, and his power heals, all I need to do is do what he is saying that I can do and then I let him do what I can′t do which is heal the sick.
SID : So what happened?
For eight months she couldn’t sit, she could not eat ; she had no strength so she could not even move her body so she just slowly agreed, nodding a little bit. And I laid hands on her.

ANDREW : positively, and I asked her,’What occurred, what did you feel as I laid hands on you.’ And she claimed,’I felt like as if hot coal was poured on me from my head to toe and it went thru me.’ and I said to her that that was the power of Our Lord God and for the 1st time in eight months I took, I told her I′m going to take you by the hand, I took her by the hand and she was able to sit on her bed, for the first time in eight months she was able to tell me, talk and let me know what she felt and just the experience and let me know all about it.

It has been a long time coming but liberation has finally arrived. Gone past are those days when a woman’s role was restricted to being a wife, a mother, a daughter and a sister.

Now she has broken the shackles and has finally arrived at the corporate jungle. She has evolved from one tribe to be a part of another.

Looking past, one can see the hazy reflections of all the attempts made by Indian women to burn down the barriers of male domination and sex prejudices. There have been numerous instances when a woman has tried to redefine her domain but somehow failed to do so completely. Every effort got stifled mid way due to varied reasons.

But now, the revolution has come out strongly from all corners. Women have become the new workforce of the country. It is not uncommon today to find women in most industries. In fact, they occupy top positions in many of them. Also, they are no longer restricted to stereotyped professions. Now, they are competent enough to handle the toughest jobs ranging from bus conductors to bar tenders. Long gone are those days when they were type casted as the weaker sex and teaching was the only profession open to them. It is not a surprise that every company and every job is now looking at women to offer better services. Even the villages are now facing the increasing power of women and now they head gram panchayats. Not one field is left where a woman has not made her mark. From kiran bedi to kiran mazumdar Shaw, we have all.

Women have now become so bold that all clichés have been broken by them. They are travelling alone to far off places without feeling any sort of inhibition. Night travelling has also become a routine for them. All those qualities that were supposed to be a feature of the male specie, have now been deftly adapted by women. They have denounced all the rules made by men and have made their own rules on their terms. Risk taking and the constant need to prove her mettle, has become a driving force in every woman of this country. The glass ceiling has been shattered and surprisingly no blood has been shed.

Women empowerment has come a long way and in many sectors such as the house, office and parliament. As a growing child kicks in the womb of a mother, the tiny efforts by women all over the country also kicked to make their presence felt. Little by little, attempts made in all forms came to light and woke up the entire nation from a deep slumber of ignorance. These efforts made a lot of people uncomfortable but then again all cannot be pleased at the same time. The different strengths of these kicks delivered different results. Like a new born baby, the women liberation movement also faced a lot of problems in the existing environment. Criticism and societal pressure made huge dents, but the child somehow managed to survive. Cases in which the effort was coupled with family support and will power, proved to be huge successes .In cases where only one was present, the success was not quite counted as a joyous one but nevertheless it still meant something. Subsequently, people did start noticing the change and realized the importance of a girl child’s education and welfare. They became aware of her needs and wants and learnt to treat her as an equal to the male child.

The contributing factors to this turn around could be many. Starting from increased literacy level to changing attitude of family and peers, every change has been a building block for the women liberation movement. The changing psyche of the people of the nation has also given impetus to the evolution of women from being timid and restricted to be a world achiever.

Till earlier times, it was believed that a woman’s role was to be a child producing machine who was bound by her husband and the kitchen. But now, the winds are blowing in another direction. A woman can now choose the number of children she wants, the husband she wants and her responsibilities. These days see women as bread earners and not only bread makers. In some cases, women are the head of the family and their decisions are most important.

The woman of today is more aware, bold and demanding. She knows her rights and duties and is capable of multitasking effortlessly. With a little or no help from others, she makes sure that her voice is heard, even if it takes quitting the “normal” rules of the society and leading a rebellion against it. She is no longer afraid of anything or anyone. Nothing can stop her now and nothing can stand in her path to success.

So, the message is loud and clear, the next generation woman has arrived with a bang, and modern India is getting introduced to the modern woman. She is taking on the world with a smile on her face and a success story in her kitty. Ask God for Fearlessness by Oral Roberts

When Peter and John returned to their friends and they lifted their voices to God with one concord, they prayed,’Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may talk Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders could be done thru the name of Your holy Servant Jesus’.
This wasn′t a prayer of retreat. This was a group that cried out to God,’Lord, do not let us lose our boldness! Let bold preaching continue. Let miracles continue!’ The Bible tells us what happened when they prayed : The place where they were assembled together was shaken ; and they were all full of the Lord God Almighty, and they spoke the word of God with arrogance. 31,32,34 ). With the early believers, boldness returned in the presence of the threats. A new oneness in the religion was established.
